The 2026 Texas Children's Houston Open concludes on Sunday, March 29, with the final round at Memorial Park in Houston, Texas. You can find full Texas Children's Houston Open tee times for Sunday's final round at the bottom of this post.

Two weeks after opening up about his battle with PTSD, 2019 U.S. Open champion Gary Woodland is 18 holes away from his first win since his major triumph at Pebble Beach.

The decision to talk openly about his PTSD diagnosis and the challenges it presents on and off the golf course has freed Woodland up, and better golf has followed. He posted a T14 at last week's Valspar Championship and has gone 64-63-65 over the first three rounds in Houston to enter Sunday with a one-shot lead over Nicolai Hojgaard.

"The response has been big, and it's also been big for me because I got a lot of relief," Woodland said on Thursday of going public with his PTSD battle. "I literally feel like I got a thousand pounds off my back that day. It was hard to do. I was crying going into the interview and I left feeling a thousand pounds lighter. I have a battle that I'm fighting, but it's nice to not do that alone, I can tell you that. We'll take it one day at a time and continue to get better."

Woodland had brain surgery to remove a lesion pressing on his brain in 2023. Since returning in 2024, Woodland's best finish is a T2 at last year's Texas Children's Houston Open. He hopes Sunday's 18 holes can get him back in the winner's circle for the first time since 2019.

"I've just got to take a deep breath," Woodland said on Saturday. "I'll have a good night ahead of me tonight to recover and rest, and tomorrow just don't get ahead of yourself. I'm here, I put myself in this position for a reason, so take a deep breath and maintain what I'm doing."

Woodland and Nicolai Hojgaard will go off with Min Woo Lee at 12:55 p.m. ET.
