This offseason has seen the New Orleans Saints turn into a serious NFC South contender. That's despite losing a few key players to free agency.
And while Cameron Jordan is still unsigned, it's looking increasingly likely that Jordan won't be back in New Orleans in 2026. If he's gone, the Saints will need to add a replacement, likely in the 2026 NFL Draft.
If they wanted someone to fill in for Jordan, then Aaron Schatz of ESPN has the perfect option for the Saints in the form of an Auburn edge rusher who is 6-foot-6, 276-pounds, that's NFL comparison is, fittingly, Jordan.
Keldrick Faulk's NFL comparison is Cameron Jordan
"Most of the edge rusher prospects are 265 pounds (T.J. Parker and Ruben Bain Jr.) or less, but Faulk is 6-foot-6 and 276 pounds," Schatz writes. "The Auburn product's ability to play both inside and outside makes him similar to the 287-pound Jordan, who has played defensive end in both 3-4 and 4-3 schemes."
Faulk being compared to Jordan is an incredible honor. While this is a comparison based on how they could fit onto an NFL team, regarding Faulk's versatility off the edge or from inside, it's still an intriguing comparison.
Jordan, the Saints legend, would be an incredible goal for Faulk in his NFL career. If he even did half of what Jordan has done, it'd be more than worth a first-round pick, even as high as eighth overall for the Saints.

In his 15-year NFL career, Jordan is an eight-time Pro Bowler, one-time All-Pro, and part of the HOF's 2010's team.
He's played in 243 games, recording one interception, 67 passes defended, 17 forced fumbles, 132 sacks, 763 tackles, 175 tackles for loss, and 248 quarterback hits.
Faulk being compared to such a player is a big honor, and would be a great goal to go after for the Auburn edge rusher.
If the Saints want to take a Jordan replacement, Faulk would be a good option. The eighth pick might be a bit too early, but if they decide to trade down and pick up a ton of value, Faulk would be an intriguing option down the board.
