The Kansas City Chiefs' run game issues have been well-documented over the past six months, and the franchise addressed them in the offseason.

The Chiefs signed Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker to spearhead their rushing attack, and you could make the case that Walker, behind Mahomes, is going to make the Chiefs tough to stop.

But what if the franchise continued to add more weapons for Mahomes?

Bleacher Report's Alex Ballentine has every team's ideal draft scenario, and for Kansas City, it's Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love who falls to No. 9.

"The Jeremiyah Love hype is a smoke screen and the Notre Dame back falls to the Chiefs at No. 9," Ballentine wrote. "He turns out to be the weapon Andy Reid needs to get this offense back into elite territory."

A Walker/Love duo devastating for Chiefs

While I get the chatter of why the Chiefs would want to go after Love since they signed Walker, having the pair together could create a serious tandem for Andy Reid.

With Walker as the veteran starter, having a playmaker like Love as the backup/rotational option would mean defenses don't get a drop-off in talent, and that is nightmare fuel.

Both Walker and Love can be so damaging on their own, but put them together, and the Chiefs could have something cooking in the run game.

Of course, there is a chance Love is off the board at No.9, but if he isn't and the Chiefs take him, the rest of the league better watch out.
