When the New York Yankees acquired Cody Bellinger before last season, the hope was that his left-handed power stroke would play well in Yankee Stadium, and that his defensive skill and versatility would create more options for manager Aaron Boone.

Missions all accomplished so far.

On Saturday, Bellinger's Yankees tenure thus far was summed up in a fascinating way: by a couple of round numbers.

Some sports fans adore round numbers, particularly in baseball. They're the ones that end with zeros: 500 home runs, a .300 average, 3,000 hits.

Bellinger isn't at those milestones yet, but in his first 160 games with the Yankees, he's reached two round numbers.

As a Yankee, Bellinger has hit 30 home runs and driven in 100 runs.

The Yankees would of course like those numbers to keep going up. This is just one snapshot of Bellinger's time in the Bronx.

Fittingly, the 160 games is almost a full season, and certainly a 30/100 full season is an impressive one.

Bellinger looks like he'll be with the Yankees for a long time after signing a new contract in the offseason, too, so this is just the beginning of the numbers he's going to keep putting up in pinstripes.
