Below, check out how we rank the shooting guards of the 2026 class of NBA free agency:

1. Austin Reaves / LA Lakers / Player Option

Although he's had some injury troubles this season, he's still putting up an extremely impressive campaign on the offensive end, drawing a lot of fouls, shooting free throws at a high level, scoring from three and the midrange, off the dribble or with his feet set, creating for teammates, and being an excellent backcourt mate to Luka Doncic. There's no doubt he'll be opting out of his deal with the LA Lakers and hitting free agency, as a huge payday awaits him this summer - a well-deserved one, by the way.

  • 2025/26 stats: 23.6 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 5.5 apg, 1.0 spg, 0.4 bpg, 49.3 FG%, 36.5 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $13,937,574
  • Career earnings: $41,970,955
  • Agent: Aaron Reilly

2. Norman Powell / Miami

A breakout year led to him making his first All-Star appearance in 2025-26, as a 32-year-old. The timing was great, as he will hit unrestricted free agency this summer. A smooth scorer who can get buckets from all three levels, his issues lie with his lack of passing - he gets tunnel vision a little too often - and on the defensive end. But he's certainly a confident and efficient bucket-getter who can help elevate a team's offense.

  • 2025/26 stats: 22.1 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 2.6 apg, 1.1 spg, 47.3 FG%, 38.4 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $20,482,758
  • Career earnings: $122,766,553
  • Agent: Jason Glushon

3. Zach LaVine / Sacramento / Player Option

A capable, tidy scorer with the ability to make difficult shots over good defending, a valuable skill set. Shooting nearly 43 percent from three over the past two seasons, and still has some bounce around the basket. Perhaps he can be more impactful in winning in a different situation.

  • 2025/26 stats: 19.2 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 2.3 apg, 0.7 spg, 0.3 bpg, 47.9 FG%, 39.0 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $47,499,660
  • Career earnings: $255,620,868
  • Agent: Rich Paul

4. Anfernee Simons / Chicago

A bombastic scorer with deep scoring range and fantastic athleticism near the rim. Can stop on a dime and nail tough jumpers from all over the floor, including from three. Has the ability to get hot at a moment's notice and has spurts where he looks like an All-Star guard.

  • 2025/26 stats: 14.3 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 2.4 apg, 0.5 spg, 44.0 FG%, 38.5 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $27,678,571
  • Career earnings: $110,041,591
  • Agent: Bill Duffy

5. Quentin Grimes / Philadelphia

A slippery driver to the rim with a quick first step and a prowess to attack the rim going left despite being right-handed. Bouncy finisher around the basket. Can hit some tough shots, though he isn't the most efficient shooter from the outside. He's a huge threat in transition thanks to his speed and quickness.

  • 2025/26 stats: 13.8 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 3.4 apg, 0.9 spg, 0.4 bpg, 45.2 FG%, 33.1 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $8,741,209
  • Career earnings: $19,970,748
  • Agent: Chris Patrick and David Bauman

6. Tim Hardaway Jr. / Denver

Enjoying a strong 2025-26 season, one that saw him shoot one of the best marks from beyond the arc of his career. That's in part thanks to playing with a passer like Nikola Jokic, but he deserves a ton of individual credit for putting up such good numbers in a campaign that saw him turn 34 years old. Earned himself a nice contract this summer with his play.

  • 2025/26 stats: 13.8 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 1.4 apg, 0.5 spg, 44.9 FG%, 40.9 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $3,634,153
  • Career earnings: $158,233,557
  • Agent: Zach Kurtin

7. Keon Ellis / Cleveland

Good three-point shooting guard who plays off the ball. Won't fill up the stat sheet, but can hit threes with his feet set at a solid level. Impactful defender on the other end. Makes a bigger impact than his raw numbers would indicate.

  • 2025/26 stats: 6.4 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 0.9 apg, 1.2 spg, 0.7 bpg, 43.5 FG%, 36.6 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $2,301,587
  • Career earnings: $5,155,710
  • Agent: Corey Marcum

8. CJ McCollum / Atlanta

Bucket-getting 2-guard with crafty scoring ability from beyond the arc and from the midrange. Boasts a quick crossover and the prowess to stop on a dime and nail pull-up jumpers off the dribble. Can also do some rebounding and creating.

  • 2025/26 stats: 18.8 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 3.8 apg, 0.8 spg, 0.4 bpg, 45.5 FG%, 36.9 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $30,666,666
  • Career earnings: $279,493,597
  • Agent: Sam Goldfeder

9. Ayo Dosunmu / Minnesota

Athletic 2-guard who can do some scoring from all three levels. Very efficient scorer near the bucket, takes smart shots and doesn't try to do too much.

  • 2025/26 stats: 14.5 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 3.5 apg, 0.8 spg, 0.3 bpg, 51.7 FG%, 44.5 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $7,518,518
  • Career earnings: $23,488,776
  • Agent: Mike Lindeman

10. Cam Thomas / Milwaukee

A walking bucket, he can make very tough shots from all over the floor. His issues lie on the defensive end, and with his tendency to get tunnel vision once he gets the ball. But there's no doubting his abilities as a scorer, which are vast. Quick, can stop on a dime, hit pull-up jumpers, he can do a bit of it all on the offensive end.

  • 2025/26 stats: 13.5 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 2.6 apg, 41.0 FG%, 31.0 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $905,366
  • Career earnings: $17,354,387
  • Agent: Tony Ronzone

11. Kevin Huerter / Detroit

A three-point expert who has seemingly lost all confidence in his outside shot. Shooting under 35 percent from three over his last three seasons, which just won't cut it for a player with his limited skill set besides his shooting. Maybe his time in Detroit will help him regain confidence and knock down more shots ahead of unrestricted free agency.

  • 2025/26 stats: 9.9 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.4 apg, 0.9 spg, 0.5 bpg, 45.3 FG%, 29.7 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $17,991,071
  • Career earnings: $76,787,750
  • Agent: Mark Bartelstein, Andy Shiffman

12. Caleb Love / Portland

After some ups and downs in his college career after being a superstar prep prospect, he has had a quietly impressive rookie season thanks to his crafty, albeit inefficient, scoring.

  • 2025/26 stats: 11.0 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 2.7 apg, 0.6 spg, 38.7 FG%, 32.0 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $636,435
  • Career earnings: $636,435
  • Agent: Mark Bartelstein, Torrian Jones

13. Luke Kennard / LA Lakers

Enjoying a fantastic season shooting the basketball. Underrated player running the pick-and-roll. Can hit some shots off the dribble, too, making him more than just a spot-up shooter.

  • 2025/26 stats: 8.0 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 1.9 apg, 0.7 spg, 54.1 FG%, 48.4 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $11,000,000
  • Career earnings: $77,003,167
  • Agent: Aaron Mintz, Steve Heumann

14. Gary Trent Jr. / Milwaukee / Player Option

Shooting expert from beyond the arc who can make tough shots over good defense, and even knock down some treys off the dribble. Has more scoring juice than just a spot-up specialist.

  • 2025/26 stats: 7.8 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 1.2 apg, 0.5 spg, 38.4 FG%, 35.6 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $3,697,105
  • Career earnings: $62,720,819
  • Agent: Rich Paul

15. Bruce Brown / Denver

Versatile wing who can play and defend multiple positions. Great rebounder for his position, and solid playmaker. He can bring a locker room championship experience, too. Adept three-point shooter with his feet set.

  • 2025/26 stats: 7.7 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.1 apg, 1.0 spg, 0.3 bpg, 47.0 FG%, 38.6 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $3,080,921
  • Career earnings: $63,326,647
  • Agent: Ty Sullivan

16. Jaden Ivey / Chicago / Restricted

Still young but hasn't panned out to this point, at least not to the level of a former Top 5 pick, leading to Detroit moving him at the trade deadline. Has some promise thanks to his speed and athleticism, as well as his slashing ability. Solid three-point shooter.

  • 2025/26 stats: 8.5 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1.8 apg, 0.6 spg, 0.4 bpg, 44.5 FG%, 37.3 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $10,107,163
  • Career earnings: $32,951,083
  • Agent: Austin Brown, Maxwell Saidman

17. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope / Memphis / Player Option

Spot-up shooting three-point expert with championship experience from his time in Los Angeles and Denver. Has struggled with his shooting efficiency over the past two seasons, though, which could lead to him opting into the final year of his deal - worth $21.6 million - and avoid free agency this summer.

  • 2025/26 stats: 8.4 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 2.7 apg, 0.8 spg, 41.0 FG%, 31.6 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $21,621,500
  • Career earnings: $147,626,755
  • Agent: Rich Paul

18. Jordan Clarkson / New York

One of the most creative bench scorers in the NBA, with a unique floater game, allowing him to finish around the basket. Quick first step and solid crossover. Can get hot from the outside, but is mediocre statistically from three-point range.

  • 2025/26 stats: 9.0 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 1.4 apg, 0.4 spg, 45.0 FG%, 33.7 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $3,634,153
  • Career earnings: $190,849,560
  • Agent: Rich Paul

19. Marcus Smart / LA Lakers / Player Option

High-impact defender thanks to strength and uncanny ability to remain glued to ball-handlers. Adept at fighting through screens. Poor offensive impact, though, mostly due to his bad three-point shooting.

  • 2025/26 stats: 9.5 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 2.8 apg, 1.4 spg, 0.4 bpg, 39.9 FG%, 33.6 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $5,134,000
  • Career earnings: $142,271,656
  • Agent: Jason Glushon, Josh Ketroser

20. Bradley Beal / LA Clippers / Player Option

Hasn't played more than 53 games in a regular season since 2020-21. Constant injury troubles have taken him down a tier from his former All-Star status. Can he still get back to that level if he regains his health in the future? That's the big question.

  • 2025/26 stats: 8.2 ppg, 0.8 rpg, 1.7 apg, 0.5 spg, 37.5 FG%, 36.8 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $5,354,000
  • Career earnings: $342,866,492
  • Agent: Mark Bartelstein, Reggie Brown

21. Bogdan Bogdanovic / LA Clippers / Team Option

Could a return to Euroleague this summer be in store for the Serbian basketball legend? Struggled in L.A. this season, but can still get buckets thanks to his confident scoring, and ability to hit difficult shots from beyond the arc, and the midrange.

  • 2025/26 stats: 7.3 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 2.4 apg, 0.5 spg, 37.6 FG%, 32.9 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $16,020,000
  • Career earnings: $132,549,907
  • Agent: Jason Ranne

22. Vince Williams Jr. / Utah / Team Option

Athletic guard with solid vision as a playmaker, but mediocre shooting skills, even wide open with his feet set.

  • 2025/26 stats: 7.5 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 4.2 apg, 0.7 spg, 0.4 bpg, 35.3 FG%, 31.1 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $2,301,587
  • Career earnings: $6,654,588
  • Agent: Mike Kneisley, Odell Witherspoon III

23. Gary Payton II / Golden State

Strong, impactful backcourt defender with good size and length. Can score off of some slashes but not a reliable outside shooter.

  • 2025/26 stats: 7.2 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 1.7 apg, 0.9 spg, 0.3 bpg, 57.1 FG%, 30.5 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $3,303,774
  • Career earnings: $33,544,361
  • Agent: Justin Haynes

24. Jaylen Clark / Minnesota / Restricted

Athletic guard with some off-the-dribble scoring ability and defensive chops.

  • 2025/26 stats: 3.9 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 0.5 apg, 0.6 spg, 43.1 FG%, 31.0 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $2,191,897
  • Career earnings: $2,684,220
  • Agent: Greg Lawrence

25. Landry Shamet / New York

Has had two very solid seasons in New York, aiding his case heading into unrestricted free agency. Over 40.5 percent from three over the past two campaigns. Can score off the dribble, too, not just as a set shooter.

  • 2025/26 stats: 9.6 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.6 spg, 43.9 FG%, 38.8 3P%
  • 2025/26 earnings: $3,080,921
  • Career earnings: $34,491,309
  • Agent: George Langberg

26. Javonte Green / Detroit

Slashing off-ball swingman who can really score as a cutter thanks to his athleticism and grit. Respectable three-point shooter, too.

  • 2025/26 stats: 6.8 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 0.7 apg, 1.2 spg, 0.3 bpg, 44.4 FG%, 36.9 3P%

  • Career earnings: $7,873,686
  • Agent: Lucas Newton
