The Miami Dolphins, after moving on from Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips in the last six months, desperately need help on the edge, and while signing Joshua Uche is definitely a start, it's clear that they need more.

On Thursday, Miami brought in some more help, as ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported that they signed former San Francisco 49ers defensive end Robert Beal Jr.

Beal, 26, played at Georgia from 2019-22 and won two national championships before the 49ers took him in the fifth round (No. 173 overall) of the 2023 NFL draft. Over the last three years, he's appeared in 25 games and recorded 36 tackles and a sack while splitting time between defense and special teams.

Miami is starting to put together a decent group of edge rushers with Uche, Beal, Chop Robinson and Cameron Goode all under contract for 2026.
