Another Detroit Lions free agent is on the move. Lions EDGE Tyrus Wheat signed a one-year, $1.75 million contract with the Dallas Cowboys, returning to the franchise where he made his NFL debut.
Wheat appeared in 15 games last season with the Lions, totaling 15 tackles, 1.5 sacks, one tackle for loss, one pass defended and one forced fumble.

The 6-foot-2, 263-pound EDGE joins a group of defenders including defensive end Josh Paschal (waived), defensive tackle Roy Lopez (free agent), linebacker Alex Anzalone (free agent) and cornerback Amik Robertson (free agent) that are no longer with the Lions.
