WATCH: Ryan Ufko scores incredible first NHL goal for Nashville Predators

· Yahoo Sports

It's one thing to score your first NHL goal, it's another to do it like Ryan Ufko just did.

With six minutes left in the second period, and the Nashville Predators tied 2-2 with the Seattle Kraken, Ufko scored an unbelievable goal to put Nashville up 3-2.

Ufko took the puck from Jonathan Marchessault near the blueline, then danced around two defenders and deked goaltender Joey Daccord for the score. The puck skill was incredible and the vision was even better, following a path to the net that most rookie defensemen wouldn't even see.

That's Ufko's first NHL goal and his second NHL point, assisting on Filip Forsberg's power play goal against Boston on March 5.

Ufko, 22, made his NHL debut on April 14, 2025, playing 15:37 in a 7-3 loss to the Utah Mammoth. A fourth-round pick in 2021, Ufko leads the Admirals with 11 goals and 33 assists in 50 games this season. The 5-foot-10, 181-pound right-hander has been Milwaukee's top defenseman this season.

With Nick Blankenburg traded to Colorado, Ufko is expected to play a significant role on the blue line for Nashville down the stretch.
