Former Falcons CB lands three-year deal with Bills in free agency

According to a report from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, former Atlanta Falcons cornerback Dee Alford has found a new home with the Buffalo Bills in NFL free agency. Alford will reportedly sign a three-year, $21 million contract, including $10.12 million in guaranteed money.
Alford, a former undrafted free agent, has spent his entire four-year NFL career with Falcons. Since making Atlanta's roster in 2022, the 28-year-old has appeared in 64 games (23 starts), recording 216 tackles (159 solo), four interceptions, 37 passes defended and 3.5 sacks.

The Bills have made big changes to their secondary over the last week, moving on from Dane Jackson, Taron Johnson and Taylor Rapp as they look to clear cap space for 2026.
The Falcons extended cornerback Natrone Brooks, another former undrafted free agent, who will presumably take over for Alford next season. On the flip side, Atlanta also lost running back Tyler Allgeier and defensive lineman David Onyemata on Day 1 of the legal tampering period.
Allgeier is signing with the Arizona Cardinals, while Onyemata is headed to the New York Jets. The team also released wide receivers Darnell Mooney and KhaDarel Hodge.
