Dana White had said 2026 would bring big changes for the boxing world, and it is hard to argue with that after Benn left Matchroom to sign with Zuffa.
It is a one-fight deal valued at $15 million, which the British boxer admitted was simply too good to pass up.
Now, Benn’s next appearance is locked in, as he joins the undercard for Fury’s return in London.

The headline bout will see Fury take on Arslanbek Makhmudov, his first fight back since losing his rematch to Oleksandr Usyk. ‘The Gypsy King’ has made it clear that he intends to build towards another big fight later in the year.
Benn’s return comes against Regis Prograis, a 37-year-old former WBA and WBC super-lightweight champion.
In a press release announcing the fight, ‘The Destroyer’ stated: “April 11th can’t come soon enough, returning to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium again, where I made history against Eubank Jr means everything to me.
“My last fight there showed the world exactly who I am and what I’m about. Fighting on the biggest stages, in the biggest shows, I fear no one!
“I’m fully locked in and ready to deliver another statement performance.”
It was at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium that he beat Chris Eubank Jr. last November – a win that helped him rebound quickly from his only loss and improve his record to 24-1.
Prograis also comes into the fight off a win, but he has just one victory in his past three outings, putting his record at 30-3.
The 37-year-old dropped back-to-back decisions to Devin Haney and Jack Catterall before beating Joseph Diaz last August.
