Former North Carolina guard RJ Davis will return to the Dean Dome and will be honored with his jersey going into the rafters at halftime of Monday's game against the Cardinals. The university made the announcement this past week as his No. 4 will go into the rafters.

Davis' earned his number going into the rafters after being a unaminous first-team All-American during the 2023-24 season. He was also named the 2024 ACC Player of the Year after averaging 21.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game in the regular season.

After committing to North Carolina as a four-star recruit, Davis spent five seasons with the program. He earned his starting role early and was a staple in getting the Tar Heels to the NCAA Tournament in four of his seasons including two Sweet 16's, a Final Four and a trip to the national championship.

Davis was one of the best shooting point guards in UNC history as well. It should be a fun night on Monday as his jersey goes into the rafters.
